There are many different theme parks in California - especially in Southern California. However, Sea World San Diego is one of the few that is more than just a fun place to visit. It also offers kids (and adults too) an in-depth education about ocean marine life.

Shamu lands onstage and takes a bow for the audience. Sea World is located on beautiful Mission Bay in San Diego. It is easily accessed from two major freeways (Interstate 5 and Interstate 8). The Sea World Tower can be seen from several miles away and is lit up like a Christmas Tree at night during the month of December.

To compete with other theme parks in California, it has added a few rides to its many marine life shows and exhibits. The newest of these rides is the popular Atlantis roller coaster. This has helped to establish Sea World as one of the top five theme parks in the United States.

Sea World San Diego, like the zoo,
has established itself as a must-see destination for visitors to the San Diego area. It will continue to captivate audiences of all ages for many years to come.
