Maui pictures have their own unique look and feel compared to pictures of other Hawaiian islands. In fact, each island in the Hawaiian island chain has certain unique characteristics and special qualities which set it apart from the other islands.
Looking out over the valley between Haleakala Mountain and west Maui.
This natural spire is called Iao Needle and is located in Iao Valley. Maui is the second largest Hawaiian island (next to Hawaii itself) and has two main areas where lots of Hawaiian resorts and hotels may be found. West Maui features the most resorts and has some of the best swimming beaches on the island. Places like Kaanapali, Lahaina, Napili and Kapalua are just a few of the locations where great lodging and beach access can be found. The other resort hot spots are found on the south side of Maui in Kihei and Wailea.
Maui is filled with lush tropical vegetation.
Rugged Maui coastline along the northeast side of the island. Pineapple and sugar cane is grown in much of the fertile valley areas, although development is changing the Maui landscape. Capturing classic Maui pictures of pineapple and sugar cane fields is still possible, but it is not as large an industry here as it once was.
The hills of Maui are seen (not far from the town of Lahaina).
A view of beautiful Napili Bay on the west side of Maui. Maui still has its share of beautiful (and even spectacular) Hawaii beaches. And you can take photographs all day long of lush tropical Hawaiian waterfalls. Creating an album of top-notch
Maui pictures
featuring this beautiful tropical paradise should be a very easy thing to accomplish during a visit here.
