Whether you like to swim, snorkel, surf or just get some sun, Tunnels Beach has all the right ingredients for a terrific Hawaii beach vacation. Visually, it is one of the most beautiful and photogenic beaches on Kauai. It is located just off Highway 560 just before you reach the end of the road at Ke'e Beach on the north side of the island.

Tunnels is also one of the best places to snorkel on the island of Kauai. It is protected by a large reef and has very interesting underwater topography. If you enjoy taking underwater pictures, then this is the place for you. Or perhaps scuba diving in Hawaii is your passion. Tunnels is hard to beat for this exciting pastime.

at Anini Beach (another north shore Kauai beach).
As you look west while standing on the beach, you see 1,600 foot high Makana Peak rising in the background. The surrounding landscape and lush scenery at Tunnels Beach makes this an excellent spot for some great beach vacation pictures. And those pictures will be a reminder to you of your
