Beautiful, wide and uncrowded Lumahai Beach on Kauai's north shore. Getting to Lumahai is a little bit challenging. The eastern portion of the beach is the nicest. To get to it requires you to park your car along the road, then hike down a short trail to the beach below. But the walk is worth it because a spectacular site awaits you as you leave the trail and step out onto the beach.
Lumahai just might be the prettiest beach in all of Hawaii.
A view of the trail which takes you to Lumahai Beach. This golden sand beach is never crowded and is a perfect place to soak up some sun or to hike along its gorgeous shoreline. However, swimming at this beach can be dangerous due to strong waves and ocean currents.
